Natural Jute Bath Loofah
Item description
The colourful mesh loofahs sold everywhere are made of plastic. They stay wet for hours, bacteria grow inside, and they end up in landfills for years. A jute loofah does the same job without any of that.
Jute is the same fibre used to make gunny bags, but for this loofah it’s woven soft enough to use on your body. It gives a light scrub that removes dead skin and leaves your skin feeling smooth and fresh after a bath. It’s also good for scrubbing elbows, knees and heels, which tend to get rough.
Since jute fibres are loose and open, air passes through easily and the loofah dries faster than a plastic one. When it’s time to replace it, just put it in your compost or bury it in the garden.
