Amba Haldi Powder (Mango Ginger)
Item description
Amba Haldi, also called mango ginger, belongs to the same family as turmeric and ginger. Cut the fresh root and it smells like raw mango, which is how it got its name. In Tamil homes it’s known as maanga inji, and many families still use it in pickles and chutneys.
The powder is lighter in colour than regular turmeric and has a softer, fresher smell. It’s been part of Ayurveda and Indian home remedies for a long time. People add it to warm milk at night, use it in cooking, and mix it into face packs.
Our Amba Haldi comes from the Himalayan region. It’s cleaned, dried and ground into powder with nothing else added. No colour, no preservatives, no fillers. Just the root.
